People just like you are regularly making commitments to live what Christ has commanded, taking the gospel to the ends of the earth and meeting needs of the poor and suffering.
We make several short-term trips annually. We start preparing months in advance: we educate team members on some basic aspects of Malawian culture, we train them in evangelism and we assign them special projects to help meet physical needs of those they are going to serve.
Are you interested in possibly leading a team on a short-term trip? Or are you an individual interested in visiting Malawi with or without a team? Well then, we invite you to fill out our brief online questionnaire so that we can provide you with all the tools and information you need.
Our internship program is the perfect opportunity for college students to put into practice what they have been learning– and explore the many facets of ministry overseas. Students can choose between a summer, semester or year-long internship.
We work closely with students and their faculty advisors in order to customize our internship to meet the requirements of the university and the job interests of the student. Our internships are rigorous and our interns are treated as full members of our team for however long they are there.

Jesus once said “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.” His words are just as true today as they’ve ever been. There is so much work to be done in Malawi, and while short-term trips are helpful, they aren’t enough.
We need help to implement new programs, train local pastors, manage our current projects and disciple new believers. We need people just like you– with your gifts, your degrees and your training– to do jobs much like the one you’re doing now.

Are you interested in serving at Esther’s House but don’t have a team to go with you? Do you have family or friends serving with us that you would like to visit? Do you want to visit the child you have been sponsoring? Well then we might be able to arrange an individual visit for you.
However, our staff, missionaries and children all have busy schedules and having visitors can disrupt our routine, so we need to plan your visit together well in advance. Please start by filling out our online application and we’ll work with you to arrange your visit.
